07 October 2010 ours is a pvt ltd co.incorporated in 2003, the face value of share is Rs.10/-,we are taking share capital from our promoters,how we have to calculate the face value now.what is the procedures

07 October 2010 Face value of shares cannot change except via change in the general meeting. So face value will be Rs. 10/- only if not changed via any general meeting.

Please check, at the time of taking money from promoters the face value of shares is Rs. 10 and if yes you can take this price for calculating the no. of shares to be allotted against the said amount.

The company has two type of price, i.e. face value price and issued price.
