Incorrect Index of charges

11 December 2010 Index of charge is not correct on the MCA portal for a particular company.therefore i have sent a letter to the ROC for the correction alongwith all the proofs. whether the ROC shall correct the same?? or personal visit is also required for the same?? Kindly Reply.

13 December 2010 After the efiling regime actions on offline activities are taking lot of time. In many cases solutions do not come even after several follow ups. Since your case pertain to index of charge, considering the seriousness it's better you visit ROC and get the matter sorted out.

13 December 2010 If the Index of charges is not correct, then first list out the discrepancies.

If the discrepancies pertain to wrong amount, chargeholder details etc, then a letter alongwith Form 8 and attachments would suffice. If some charges are not shown, then again the same have to be furnished.

If no action is taken within 30 days of your letter, it would be advisable to contact the Asst. ROC who would guide you to the concerned dealing officer for your Company and help you correct the Index.
