24 July 2018 sir, in my friend's form 16 deptt has shown Rs 2344 as income from other source.Actually he has received amount for checking the 10th board exam papers.But in scd TDS 2 there is no detail about it.my question is still he can show this amount in income from other source head and file the ITR or he has to show it in other head.Tax has been deducted on this amount.

Sir for examiner fees( in board exam paper duty fees) in which head it will come in other source of income or any other head is there.Because for income from other source no Sch TDS 2 column is filled.Still we can show it in other source of income head please guide me

25 July 2018 Income received for paper checking is called honorarium fees and should be shown under IFOS.
