my friend was living in india from his birth to 31st march 2014. from 1st april 2014 he left india for doing job in USA.regarding his income tax return filling for last financial year i.e.2013-14 my query is as under:
1.in ITR what is his residential status.
2.in ITR what place he metion in taxes paid and verification sheet.
3.can somebody sign his return on behalf of him.
pls.help.

1.his residential status for the financial year 2013-14 is Indian.
2.He should mention indian address as he was in india in 2013-14.
3.No he has to sign return himself he can use digital signature.

but my query in point no. 2 is currently he is not in india then what place to be written in taxes paid and verification sheet.because if today i filled ITR then what place he write alongwith his signature. Shall i put there USA and take physically sigened by him from there only?
