Therefore, it is advised that you may ascertain your tax liability for AY 2017-18 and file your Income Tax Return (ITR) without any further delay. Last date to file your return for AY 2017-18 is 31st March 2018. However, you are advised to file the Income Tax Return much before the last date to avoid last minute rush.

Please note that the law has changed and ITR for AY 2017-18 CANNOT be filed beyond 31st March 2018.

Is it true?
Last date for filing ITR for AY 2017-18 is 31st March 2019. but in Mail I can't file ITR after 31st March 2018. Is it True or Not?

26 January 2018 Yes after 31st March 2018 you can not file tax return for Ay 2017-18 , you can file or revise Tax return until 31st March 2018 i.e 1 year from the end of AY 2016-17 or before the completion of assessment by income tax department.

26 January 2018 Yes... The Law is Changed as per above said way (mail)... We will file our (ORIGINAL RETURN - u/s 139(1) & 139 (4)) ITR for AY 17-18 Upto 31st March 2018. After the date we can't file ITR for AY 17-18... But, We can file Revise Return upto 31st March 2019. Also we can revise Our belated Return...
