Income tax return filing

31 December 2015 Dear Sir,

My Gross income is less than 4 lacs including Salary income and Rent rec form House property and Net Taxable income is less than Rs. 270000/-. I have filed ITR return upto F. Y. 12-13. not filed the Return for F. Y. 13-14 and F. Y. 14-15.

Whether it is compulsory to file the return in case of nil Tax Payable.

31 December 2015 It is advisable to file the returns regularly even if the total income is below taxable limit. By filing a returns we generate confidence in ourselves. It becomes easier for us to prove the data, once the return is filed.

31 December 2015 Dear AS your Gross total income exceeds the taxable limit, but your net total income is below taxable limit
it means you have availed the tax saving options
So it is required to file ITR.
Also it will help in future.
