Income tax return did not process

Dear All,
I have filed ITR for my client on 01-August-2016 but sent the Acknowledgement to CPC Bengaluru on 31- December-2016
Kindly tell me is it right or i have to do any rectification.

Acknowledgment is required to be sent to Bangaluru within 4 months. If it is received at CPC after the mentioned time period than generally they put it under received after due date for a few days than process the same. You will have to wait and see.
