28 June 2012 Dear Experts,

While filling my IT Return I have mentioned wrong amount under the head "income from salaries" and filled the return online. But I haven't send the acknowledgement copy (hard copy) to the Income tax deptt, bangalore as yet.

Now pls guide me if I can file the revised return and then send the acknowledgement (revised return) to the IT dept, bangalore or I should first send the acknowledgement(that original one) and then file revise return and then send IT Dept bangalore the acknowledgement of revised return.

Pls guide me at the earliest

28 June 2012 agree with expert,

send revised return ITRV to CPC, but if you send original ITRV also then also there is no problem at CPC they will generate receipt for both.
