Income tax refund query

04 November 2012 I had kept a follow up of Mr. X's Income Tax Refund through the NSDL Site (www.tin-nsdl.com), now the status says that the Residence Address cannot be found or does not exist to deliver the Income Tax Refund Cheque. But the Address given in the Income Tax Return is the correct Address. (Note : Income Tax Refund was filed Electronically ie E-filed)

1) Now what is the procedure which is to be followed to get the Income Tax Refund of Mr. X?

2) Whether can I now ask the Income Tax Department to Directly credit the Refund to Mr. X's Bank Account? [By Attaching a Cancelled Cheque to the Application]

06 November 2012 You have to fill the response sheet,& send it to the income tax baglore address. The Format of response sheet is easily avilable on internet.
