filed the IT return on july 20 2016, still the refund has not been issued. can anyone know the reason for the delay. are they doing it deliberately.

The refund process may take time. You should wait. However, otherwise you can contact your AO to know the status of your refund.

You. Have to wait till your return processed, once it processed you will receive Intimation U/S 143(1),
