08 September 2012 Pls inform the procedure for refund of the TDS amount when income tax return is not filled at all???

If the income tax return is not filled then can department deduct income tax in the subsequent years refund???

09 September 2012 Refund can be claimed only through filling of return. There are no other process for it.
If you dont file a return upto the last date of filling a return u/s 139(4), then you will not be able to claim such refund at all,forever.
