I have pre-paid my pending housing loan on 9.5.2014 break up of total amount is Rs.441584/- towards Principal and Rs.9115/- towards interest as on 9.5.2014 for Financial year 2014.15.
Please guide me about eligibility of Rs.441584/- principal amount subject to 80C deduction.

Mr Pankaj the amount paid as principle will b allowed u/s 80C(upto Rs. 1L) and u can claim interest on loan component under 24a(income from house property)
