Quick Summary

If your income tax payment isn't reflecting and it still shows as payable, don't worry. The system may take time to update. Crucially, if you paid self-assessment tax during filing, you need to manually enter the challan details in the tax payment section. 29 March 2022 If you have paid the self assessment tax at the time of filing IT return, it will not auto-update the tax deposited. Fill in the challan details in tax payment details so that payment made is considered. Then, file the return.
