Income tax on salary

05 May 2014 dear expert,

one of my clients getting salary Rs.285652/-.
company wants to ded.tds on this salary.
no investment details with him.

but he paid Rs.8000/-. per months house rent,
then he eligible of HOUSE RENT dedction in HIS TDS DEDCUTION..?

HE IS NOT GETTING HRD FROM COMPANY,

HE PAID FROM HIS PERSONAL POCKET.

IF COMPANY IS NOT DED.TDS FROM SALARY.

& HE PAID HOUSE RENT BY HIM,

THEN HE ELIGIBLE FOR DEDCUTION FOR FILLING OF INCOME TAX RETURN?

THEY PROVIDE ONLY HOUSE RENT PAID DETAILS ONLY. PL. GIVE US INCOME TAX SECTION UNDER THIS COVERED.
