Does Income Tax & Service Tax applicable on Remittance Inward?

for e.g. : Mr. X is working on Payroll for USA based company as a Software Engg.

Yes, he is located in India. And what about the Service tax.

06 June 2011 His income will be taxable in India if he is working in India even if he is on the payroll of US company and non-resident in India.

Moreover, if he is not working in india but simply received salary from his employer US company, his uincome will also taxable in India
