Income tax on gst part of rental income

Can we declare Rental income under Income tax excluding GST amount (since GST is indirect tax it is not part of income) or Should we consider entire rent including GST amount?

Thank you Madam, As the Charging Section is not clear on this, do we have any case laws, can you please give any references?

logic is simple...no tax on tax...so GST should be excluded and tax can not be charged on same
