Income tax of father after his death.

26 February 2014 Dear Sir,

I am Ankur. Recently my father is expired and i worry about his income tax. so, how i will pay income tax on behalf of him. My mother is house wife. Is she eligible for payment on behalf of him.

If yes, what will be consider for income tax purpose? and will she have to pay income tax every year?

Pls suggest site or link for further assistant.

However, Income of your father for the given year upto the date of his death is to be computed and any of his legal heir may file return on his behalf as representative assessee
