13 November 2013 Dear Sir,
I am a permanent resident of Bihar. When i was applied for my PAN, i was working in Guwahati so i used my local address of Guwahati. Now I am transferred to Kolkata since last 3years. In future it might be a new city also, so every time change the local address in my PAN Data, i decided to changed my address in PAN data as my permanent address of Bihar. I have all-ready applied for change/correction in PAN Data through online.
I have a confusion about jurisdiction, what effect on this issue by this change/correction in PAN Data.
I wanted that i will fall in the jurisdiction of Kolkata, what shall i do for that, please suggest me.

13 November 2013 If You are regularly filing your Income Tax Returns then, It will not create any problem. Address is only for your Jurisdiction in which you are assessed. You may residing at Kolkata and filing your Income Tax Return mentioning Address of Bihar. If Kolkata Department asking for your Return filing Details, you may submit copy of Returns which were filed mentioning Address of Bihar.

It is advisable that you file tax return online with your current Kolkatta address. It doesn't matter where your jurisdictional officer sits.

14 November 2013 If You have made Application for change in Address of PAN then, your Jurisdiction will be changed accordingly.

14 November 2013 If I am apply for change in PAN Address as Kolkata in place of Bihar then, My Jurisdiction will also change. (It is not changed in case of E-Filing)

14 November 2013 change in PAN address doesn't result change of jurisdiction. you can try that. For change of jurisdiction you need to separately apply to the current AO and the new AO
