13 July 2013 what are the limit and reqirements to claim the following:
conveyance allowance
LTA
medical
education allowance

whether the assessee is reqiured to submit documents with the company to claim exemption of the same.

14 July 2013 1. LTA - specified exemption limit and only ticket cost in the shortest route will be allowable for deduction. Original ticket with boarding pass( incase any) need to be submitted .

Medical reimbursement - need to submit the medical bills for self and family. up to Rs.15000 exempted per annum

Education allowance- Children education allowance exempted up to Rs.100 per month per child, maximum 2 children

15 July 2013 what about conveyence allowance. am i supposed to submit documents with the company for claiming 800 pm exemption.....

15 July 2013 No documents need to submit to claim the conveyance allowance of Rs.800/- it is standard exemption without documents
