any document are required to attached with ITR-1 form?

or if a employee are want their refund under this case they are required to attached a document and also please tell me the process of refund from the I T deptt.

24 March 2010 Income tax returns has to be filed without attachments (anexure less returns).Therefore,no need to attach form 16 with ITR-1.
However, for refund cases bank account number, type of account and MICR number should necessarily be mentioned in the column provided in the return form.

24 March 2010 there is nothing require to attachement with ITRs if you want refund if your income under tax liability and deduct tds from you then you just have to filed your IT return in ITR-1 there is computation of income & Deduction and in case of refund you have to write you bank a/c no. for refund if you want by cheque or if you want direct credit to you bank a/c then you need to write your bank micr code.too
