10 January 2010 The government will not make any provisions which will ultimately lead to less collection of tax.

But, it may be possible that at initial levels it would look easy to file returns etc.

When service tax was introduced; nobody thought that the provisions will be so typical to understand later on.

So one should not expect that law would be easy because these are made by bureaucrats and advocates who will never make the law easily understandable.

General public also do not take participate when these are put for discussion.

There are so many Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations who discuss the matter but nobody listens to that.

Why ? Because they do not have political support.
