Can I pay my friend self assessment tax through my net banking account for the f.y.2015-16, he has no net banking & cheq book account.

30 June 2016 It is not advisable to do so, as there is option in bank for tax remittance, also to file ITR Bank account details are mandatory, and if he has bank account he can go to bank and pay over the counter and getting internet banking access is also easy nowadays.
