14 December 2013 SUPPOSE ORIGINAL RETURNS HAVE BEEN FILED AFTER DUE DATE & IN THAT RETURN ONE FAILED TO FILL ADVANCE TAX DETAILS. SO HOW TO CLAIM THAT ADVANCE TAX ,AS THE OPTION OF REVISION OF RETURN IS NOT THERE....

14 December 2013 First of all view your 26AS and confirm whether Advance paid by you is being reflected in 26AS or not??
If it is appearing in 26AS then the process will be quite easy.

Let Income Tax department process the return.. After processing of same, it will send you Intimation in which demand will be raised..
Now, you can apply for rectification of Intimation and can state the reason for your omission to fill Advance Tax details..
The department will process the rectification request and the credit of Advance tax will be allowed...

THROUGH AN RR WE REQUEST TO RECTIFY THE INTIMATION AS PER THE REVISED XML FILE.

FOR RECTIFICATION THE E-FILING WEB-SITE REQUIRES REFERENCE NO. OF THE INTIMATION.

15 December 2013 Correctly said sir..
As per suggestion of Bafna sir, wait for the intimation to come in which the CPC reference no will appear.. It will be required for filing rectification..
