21 June 2009 GSt stands for Goods & service Tax. In this system, all the indirect taxes like Vat, service Tax, excise etc are brought under one head. It is currently applicable in about 147 countries in the world.In India, Govt is planning to introduce from 01.04.2010 but it would not be so easy for govt to apply it...hope it would be deferred from year to year.
