Income on gift

My mother has some equity shares from many years in her name.Few days ago she gift me that shares which I transfer in my name now If I sell this shares what will be the tax impact on this it will treat as LTCG or STCG.

LTCG. period of holding includes the period for which the asset was held by the person who gifted the asset
