For eg. Mr. A wants salary of the month of
april 2010 and may 2010 as advance in March 10, then will his employer issue TDS certificate ie. Form 16 for 14 months or 12 months?

TDS TO BE DEDUCTED ON PAYMENT BASIS IN SAME MANNER AS SALARY IS TAXABLE ON RECEIPT BASIS. SO TDS CERTIFICATE TO BE ISSUED FOR 14 MONTHS BUT PERIOD REMAINS 12 MONTHS.
