16 February 2011 WHAT IS THE DIFFRENCE B/W ACCRUE & DUE IF ANY & IF NOT WHAT IS THE SIMILARITY.

ALSO I WANT TO KNOW THAT AFTER APPLYING SURCHARGE TO A PARTICULAR QUESTION DO WE HAVE TO APPLY EDUCATION & SEC & HIGHER EDUCATION CESS TOGETHER LIKE 3 % OR SEPRATELY,IF SEPARETELY THEN ON WHAT AMOUNT & WHICH WILL BE LEVIED FIRST.

PLEASE HELP A.S.A.P.

16 February 2011 accured means - gathered
& due means - has become receivable

suppose interest on savings a/c is payable 6 monthly...
then till the end of 5 months the interest is said to be - accrued (but not due)
and @ end of 6th mth, it will become - accrued and due untill its actually received
