Inclusion of freight inwards in inventory valuation

Hi,
I have raised a PO without including the freight. I have hired a transporter for this purpose and paid the freight to him. Can the amount paid to transporter is added to the value of the raw material in Inventory Valuation.

Yes it should be added to inventory cost
