which date exchange rate shall be taken for purchase import A/C value

In accordance with section 14 of Customs Act 1962 the rate of exchange will be the date when bill of entry is presented. The rate of exchange are fortnightly issued by customs via notifications.
16 June 2014
normaly rate will mention on bill of entry.
17 June 2014
on the date on which u received the material.
