Dear Sir,
I am planning to buy a 1980 model second hand workshop machine from germany worth around 3500 €.
May I know the documents required from Germany and the prevailing custom duty

Second hand capital goods are allowed for import. IEC is required. Also a certificate from the CE who is registered with the Indian mission from the place import. Custom duty is calculated on the basis of depreciated CIF value of the second hand goods sought for import.
