27 May 2020 Whether i can issue debit note against my imports made from a supplier outside India?
The supplier is giving me discounts now, the goods have been cleared from the customs.

27 May 2020 1. Sir, i can charge gst on this debit note? Purchase was made in april 2020 and discount given in amy 2020
2. Sir i took input of IGST paid at the time of custom clearance, now can i set off this input with these debit note gst liabilities?

27 May 2020 You have already taken ITC. So no need for any GST adjustment.

05 June 2020 Sir,
I am preparing accounts for a firm which have made imports. Purchases made in May 2020 and payment will be made in July 2020 While recording the purchase in tally, the USD have to be converted into Indian rupee. Can you please suggest the link from which exchange rate to be taken for recording import transactions.
