Import duty on import of goods and usage for the government.

Hello sir, Greetings to all. We are planning to import the engineering goods from USA for the usage of Government authority DRDO. in this context let us know that tax implications on import of material. import of goods and the same used to make service to Government subject to no import and excise duty. Kindly conform. Thanks in advance.

In order to comment of tax implication, we need to c the goods, tariff clasiffication and then need to check exemption notification under central excise and customs laws.
