My client is running Ice cream factory,
He manufactures it in his own name , His Turnover is 10lacks ,

Can he avail SSI benefit . ?

Is there any way where i can get a certificate from dept saying that this client is exempted as he is a SSI ?

06 April 2012 Yes he is eligible for SSI registration. As regards exemption under which act you want. If it is Income Tax Act then you have to check whether Ice Cream falls under Schedule 16 if yes then No if No then Yes.
For exemption no certificate is needed the only certificate neede is SSI registration certificate with Director of Industries of your area and you can claim State Subsidy
