My Client being an Individual has filed his I.T.return for A.Y.2009-210 at Ahmedabad with concerned juridictional authority vide Acknowledgement No 0721015285 Dt.11.03.2010 manually by hand delivery (i.e.not e-filing)by claiming refund of Rs.15820/-+Interest.
Yesterday My client intimated to me he got the refund which he cliamed in I.T.return from I.T.Dept, Mumbai Address.
Now I want to calrify whether the refund procedure is centralised at Mumbai so far Gujarat region is concerned.

Dear sanjay,
check with ur client whether he had previously mentioned mumbai address while making PAN application, as normally the RO are issued to the correspondence address specified at the time of applying PAN.

Please note that my client has mentioned only address of Ahmedabad since from firsr year of I.T.return filing & even at the time of filing of PAN Application.
