I have 3 questions about a delayed refund claim

11 July 2013 1.can i claim my tds refund due for a.y.2011-12 on current a.y.13-14?
2.is there some diferent procedure for filling the return?
3.can i file such retun on internet?

12 July 2013 Now. you cannot claim, as already the return filing period limit is over. belated return can be filed with in 1 year from the assessment year. so ay-11-12 can be filed till 31st March 2013 only. so now not possible to file even online also

24 August 2013 You can file your return in physical form as per the circular issued by CBDT for late filing of return provided there is refund in that year you can file it any time although provisions of section 139(1) & (4) has lasped. The condition is this that the refund should be less than 10,000 which shall be processed by the assessing officer in case it exceeds 10000 then the CIT will process the return and issue the refund. Generally it takes time and no time can be estimated to get the refund as most of the people are not aware of this provisions and circular.
