WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR THE FORMATION OF HUF & TO GET THE NEW PAN CARD...

PLS SUGGEST SOMETHING...

17 August 2011 1. If a single male individual wants to form an HUF, the basic requirement is- First he should get married.

2. Now married, or already married, by following his " Grihastha Dharma", he can apply for HUF PAN card in the name of his HUF. Say the name will be AMITKUMAR AUTHOR HUF.

3. For the application of PAN, he will require a rubber stamp...

4. The date of formation may be taken as
the date of marriage.

If the date of marriage is not known select any date, from when he knew that

he was enjoying married status from such date.

If nothing is known write the date of formation as 01/01/0001 for Ancestral HUF.

5. File application in Form No 49A.

6. Family photo is not required. Even, no photo is required to be affixed in Form 49A.
