01 August 2014 If huf consist of husband,wife & daughter only then who will became karta of huf ,his wife oor daughter?
And after both husband wife death , whether daughter can became huf's karta?

02 August 2014 after amendment to Hindu Succession Act in 2005, the daughter can become karta

02 August 2014 well the widow could have become karta, (where no male member is living) even before the amendment of 2005. please refer CIT v RM AR AR Veerappa Chettiar (’70) 76ITR467 (SC).
