Can some one please let me know the HSN code of sand lime bricks? It comes under chapter 68 and is mentioned under 12% gst rate. I have come across a few sites where codes mentioned started with 6810 / 6815. But both these come under 28% bracket. Please help.

you need to take the help of chemical engineer to identify if sand lime fits into 6810 or 6815
please also try to locate it in chapter 69 which is for bricks, blocks, ceramics and fossils

But 6810 and 6815 fall in 28% bracket. Please correct me if I am wrong. Moreover, as far as I know, sand lime bricks are mentioned in chapter 68. Hence, all the confusion.

For HSN code 6810 and 6815 the rate of gst is 28% What I wanted to insist is that, first locate the chapter. When there is a designated chapter for bricks, why to run after chapter 68 whose heading is Monumental and building Stone? If no entry under chapter 69 is capable of describing "sand lime" bricks, then you can take the entry under any other chapter than 68. What do you say?
