Can a govt. salaried Person take housing loan & get exemption in Pricipal & interest while he is getting HRA From govt.

For getting HRA exemption you need to pay rent and for claiming Housing loan interest deduction also.please refer the sec.23(2)(b) conditions

Salaried person want to claim the HRA and interest on housing loan

For claiming HRA, you must pay rent. if you occupaying your own house, you cannot claim HRA.
