19 August 2013 what is the max limit of HRA Receipt.

if employee provide rent slip exceed of Rs. 24000/- pm

19 August 2013 least of the following
a) rent paid excess of 10% salary
b) HRA received
C) 40% of salary

19 August 2013 HRA exemption is

1. Actual HRA
2. 50%/40% (in metro 50%) of basic salary plus DA
3. Actual rent paid
4. Rent paid in excess of 10% of Basic salary plus DA

which ever is less

If you have given rent slip of Rs 24,000 pm then PAN of land lord is necessary

19 August 2013 If rent paid by you is more than 15000, then you have to mention the pan of land lord
