Hra deduction on salary

17 July 2014 Dear All
if My Basic salary is Rs 15500 , HRA is 2500 Travelling Allowance Rs 1500 Commission is RS 3000 medical Allowance Rs 1000 My total Salary is 23500/- so how can i calculate my HRA Deduction on Salary
Is Travelling Allowance & Medical Allowance also add in salary for HRA Deduction ?

17 July 2014 no. traveling allowance and medical allowance is not added to salary for HRA deduction

17 July 2014 its means HRS Deduction salary ( Basic salary + commission + HRA ) only this add in the salary any other allowance will no be added special allowance Entertainment allowance

17 July 2014 no. for HRA computation, only Salary plus dearness allowance is to be included. nothing else.

1)Basic Salary
2)DA
3)Commission forming a part of salary as fixed percentage of Turnover ( Means)

what is the meaning of the 3rd Point

17 July 2014 where is the commission included in salary for HRA computation? please refer section 10(13a) read with Rule 2A of Income-tax Rules 1962 and Rule 2(h) of Part A of schedule 4
