i m doing job in mumbai and getting HAR and i m planning to buy House in Ahemdabad,.if i take loan for buying house at ahemdabad then can i claim both HRA and interest on housing loan and principal u/s 80c.. kindly advise.

29 May 2010 Yes, you can avail deduction of Interest on borrowing capital u/s 24(b) and return of princial amount u/s 80C but if you buy in Mumbai then you cannot avail this benefit
