An employee getting HRA.
Half of the rent also paid by employer.
It is treated as perquisit.
Shall he claim entire rent paid for excemption u/s 10

HRA can be calculated as per rules and What ever rent paid by employer totally taken as perquisite

all the HRA paid is been taken as perquisites by employees.. but we have to do is, calculate HRA exemption as per sec. 10 (13A) and claim in your ITR in Sec.10. you will get the benefit of exemption
