I m salaried person & I reside in Mumbai in rental house Rs.7000/-pm.My own house in MP which is given on rent Rs.5000/- pm.Then plz say me what information i given to my employer for form 16.and what r such effects?

21 February 2014 Give details of rent paid to your employer. He will consider the same for computing HRA exemption.

Rent earned can be shown in the income tax return.
