how to start wit articleship???

18 May 2009 I hv cleared my Cpt exam in jan2009.
I joined my articleship in feb.
but due to my bcom exam i din attend the office 4 abt 20days...
I m the only articled assistant in my office so cn anybody guide me wat to do...
i mean i hv gained sum knowledge abt sales tax,efiling,IT,vat,n auditing...
our firm is a small firm bt is the best in our locality...
so sumbody pls help me!!!
wat m trying to ask is tat my senior r forcing m to giv mor stress on auditing n a/cs bt i believe tat its time consuming n i wd nt learn new things bcoz of it???
