when a businessmaen purchased a God Statue for rs.40000 /- for the moral support of faith of the employees.
how this exp is to be treated ?
is it write off in p & l account?
or it can be shown under furniture & fixture.

As per my view it is personal expenses and it would be debit to the capital account.

Then it would be inadmissiable if it debited to the P&L account. Better to show in Furniture and fixers but don't claim Depreciation on it.
