How to set correct 4 years old rectifications ?

08 June 2015 In the AY : 11-12, demand of Rs. 17570 is being raised by AO, where I have not received any notice or so. AY : 13-14 there was a refund of Rs. 8400 which is adjusted and I got the letter from CPC much latter.

I verified my old records with form 16 etc. of AY: 11-12 and found what I have given details is correct and as per form 16. Can you please check the records and tell me what are the options available to me to rectify the same. My AO is in Dhanbad, Jharkhand and I do stay now in Bangalore with son and aged of 64. So difficult to reach AO in Dhanbad.

Any suggestion is welcome.

09 June 2015 is the rectification right given to CPC or the AO?

09 June 2015 would advise you to contact a CA based out of dhanbad itself.

while anyone can help you in drafting the response, the same needs to be submitted at the tax office in hard copy.

Further, what appears from the details you have shared, it appears to be case of your employer not filing TDS return properly, leading to a tax credit mismatch..
