How to return income tax paid.

18 February 2012 Hi,
My sole source of income is salary,and TDS is deducted from my salary.The investment that i have declared reduces my salary income between tax free limit.Now please guide me in detail how to return the TDS I have already paid.I am new to this process.You help will be highly appreciated.

18 February 2012 If income tax is deducted from salary, and if tax deduction is not warranted due to tax saving investments or tax deducted is in excess of what is to be deducted, then file income tax return and seek the refund.

18 February 2012 You need to file income tax return to get refund. You can do online also. Visit following link:
