Dear All,
I had filled ITR 1 FY 2012-13 online under option “quick e file ITR”. Few days back I get intimation from IT department that your refund is failed due to wrong Bank Account Number. How to rectify Bank account number on line, whether we rectify or Revise the return.in online under rectification tab there is no option to change bank account number.

There is no need to rectify the return. All you need is to login -----> go to my account -------> go to reissue of refund tab -----> enter the details like whether you want chq or ecs, new bank details etc.
