I want to prepare a XBRL file without help of software. I am not aware on any such tool. Can one help me on how to prepare a XBRL file. I have got my financials in Excel format.

Currently such a free utility / patch is not available. You need to take the help of conversion utility or contact some of your friend who can do it for you.
